Looks pretty good from what I have seen. I installed Diablo 1 a few months back. I looked at the graphics and just couldn't do it. Starcraft doesn't look that appealing to me and I pray to god I never play WOW again, but looks like I may have to indulge in one of them to pass the time. Still... At least they will all come out before Gran Tourismo. The original reason I brought my PS3. |

I never liked Diablo 1 , Diablo 2 still holds up though. (They released a bunch of patches that made the game a little more interesting at higher levels as well) Starcraft looks appealing to me as it is a full "game creator" not just level editor. You can use it to create a first person shooter for example, or a sidescroller, or a third person rpg. I played a bit of SC back in the day but I've always preferred warcraft and still play frozen throne. |

Maybe I should do some more research on Starcraft before I go saying shit, that sounds quite cool. Frozen Throne is awesome I can't decide which is better out of that and Age of empires 2, so they both go in my top 10 for fun had behind a keyboard. Anybody ever play Freelancer? |

The only reason Warcraft 3 is still the most played rts is because of the map editor. (which has then spawned 2 new genres of stand-alone games) A lot of people probably don't care about it at all, but it is what gives the game longevity. They also talked about people being able to make and sell games through Blizzard which could lead to a wide range of interesting independent games. I used to make maps for counter-strike/unreal/warcraft simply because it's fun to play on your own maps. And some games simply don't have the sort of maps you want to play sometimes, a non-vehicle map for battlefield 1942 for example. And if it wasn't for fast custom maps like iceworld, I doubt counter-strike would be as popular as it is today with "casual" gamers. |

I just finished Assassin's Creed 2 last night. I really want to get the two DLCs that are out for it but I need to buy the xbox hard drive thingy. ________ SweetGirl18 Last edited by .sleep : 07-09-2011 at 18:41. |

Anyone interested in Heavy Rain? Theatrical games don't irk me (I'm a big MGS fanboy), so I'm definitely interested to check it out. It'll be interesting to see how well they were able to get out of (or not) uncanny valley with the character emotions. |

Anyone know if it's worth going through the first Assassin's Creed after playing 2? I've heard the plot is pretty boring as they put all their stock into the freerunning stuff but in the few cutscenes where you're back in 'modern day,' I didn't quite understand what was going on. I'm thinking maybe going through the first will clear up some of my questions. ________ Live Sex Last edited by .sleep : 07-09-2011 at 18:42. |

*Spoiler* The first is pretty weak, no real character development. I think there will be one more game with desmond as the main assassin with various other assassins of his bloodline helping out to unlock certain sections on the search for the hidden temples without the Anubis. |

Have been playing Mass Effect 2. Very cool game play. Lots to do, a bit of customization and a great story line makes for a very cool game. 4 days of over due fees form the video store are well worth it. |

PS3 disaster. Only affecting original 'fat' consoles like mine, slim models ok I think, luckily I stopped playing ASII before midnight last night. Basically means I can't turn my PS3 on again until they get this sorted. Fucking cunts. Eurogamer – Massive bug cripples PS3s C&VG – PSN down |
