Second was still a solid game, just not as awesome as the first. Played a few hours of the story mode on Wednesday, it is pretty epic - and the multiplayer is supposed to be good as well. Grabbing a copy from Tescos at lunchtime. Super Hans: People like Coldplay and voting for the Nazis. You can't trust people, Jeremy.

Early levels playing singleplayer is. Now when you have tons of skills/combinations and I only really play in public games, very different game. Still said a disappointment, but that's based on expectation and not the quality of other products on the market. Also when you start, and they don't tell you this, you're in a mode that means you can't change the position/hotkeys/types for your abilities. So you have 6 ability types, like primary, secondary, defensive, support, whatever. And when you start, you can only use 1 of each at the same time. But if you go into the menu you can select "elective mode" which lets you have all offense skills if you want. Which makes a huge difference, and they never tell you about it, I didn't learn until level 20. Last edited by teapoted : 18-05-2012 at 13:32. |

That does sound pretty boring. Basically if you can;t shoot people in the face in slow motion, I'm not interested. Simple things please simple minds... Super Hans: People like Coldplay and voting for the Nazis. You can't trust people, Jeremy.

I have to say that in spite of my regular skepticism of the series, I'm pretty excited for the new GTA. I always think toward a new iteration of the brilliant Chatterbox from the third game. |

Anyone play Journey (PS3)? Bought it on the PSN Store at the weekend and finished…at the weekend. Looks pretty cool but waaaaaaay too short. Nice music and visuals. If they could have made it twice as long it would have been even better. |
