Erika La Tour Eiffel married the Eiffel Tower and then took its name. But she doesn't like referring to the structure as "it" because "calling something an 'it' instantly means it's inanimate." She gets "a sense" of an object's gender. According to her, the Eiffel Tower is female. Yes, the most phallic building in the world is female. Freelancer for hire.

There was a program on TV about this last year, it was interesting to watch. Hard to comprehend how people can feel affectionately for objects. They truly believed they (the objects) had feelings and would talk to them. There was the woman who was in love with, and married, the Eiffel tower (as above) and also another woman who was in love with a fence. The power of the human mind is incredible. In the case of Erika La Tour Eiffel, the cameras followed her as the went to the Eiffel tower and then went to the top floor. Here she 'mounted' a particular section of it (she wan commando under her dress) so that they could consummate their marriage. |
