Freelancers suck

Found this post while browsing the interweb.

Apparently freelancers arent to be trusted. I was quite annoyed and left a comment on the post.

Spreading the word eh buddy?

Pretty shitty post, probably been burned in the past and is just venting. With a site called "Watshit" I doubt anyone would take these guys too seriously...

I've not read the post but I think it is fair to say that Freelancers have more chance of being unreliable than agencies just because of the law of averages. It stands to reason that one person, trying to run a business as well as perform a job, who is likely to get people dick them around for money, etc could well turn out to be less reliable than a team of people.

But every single agency I have had worked for has screwed me, and the end client. No one I have ever worked for knew, or cared to learn, even the basics of what they were selling - and had the cheek to charge extortionate amounts which very little of gets paid to the person that has done the work.

All depends on the person. Some freelancer strive to please their client and others don't.

Hell, freelancers get screwed over a lot too.

Same goes for companies. I recently quoted a business €1000 for a website that they were getting designed off a large company for €6000. Their stuff is made with tables. I need say no more.

So it swings both ways.

I wouldn't worry about this plonker. His site is ugly.
