i dont know, none of deviantart's designs seem to agree with me. i find that its a task in itself to navigate the website. not that the site's bad, but its not exactly a lite and breezy walk.

True, but I think the new system improved it quite a bit. The search is also a lot better.

the navigation was in dire need of a re-design.
The new join box is just annoying imo.

The new redesign came with some great new features, but the design looks worse in my opinion. While the category sidebar is a step-forward from the old drop-down menu, it looks downright ugly. And I don't like how they moved the message bar up the top there...

To be honest, I love it. The navigation is just so much better, the old category drop-down was indeed a disaster but this looks really nice.

I like the overall feeling of the site, I really think this is an improvement.

Green is DA's color. I don't mind the green, but I do wish it were closer to a minty green and not a diarrhea green.

The new features are nice. I like the way the message box is set up now, but searching for anything on that site has always been a huge task. That might be due to the fact that users catalog their own images.

The old one was crap

and when you dive into the message center and a lot of other places you'll notice the biggest changes.

However, they STILL need to redesign profile pages, they've been the same since at least v4, v5 allowed you to put FOUR THUMBNAILS from your gallery there..... OH boy!!

Blah....
