I'm a slave!
You do have to feel for Christiano Ronaldo. Guardian Sport He already earns around £120,000 per week and lives in a £4m mansion. Bless him. Clearly that's not good enough. His slave comments are quite offensive and ill-advised though. I wouldn't call him a slave – 'mercenary cunt' maybe. I find all this annoying as a Spurs fan, God only know what Man Utd fans make of it? He was fuck-all before going there. Gratitude eh? |

I agree with everything said above. That said, the issue does need resolving one way or the other. Ronaldo is an employee of Manchester United. Employees have rights. He doesn't appear to have the same rights as everyone else (I can quit my job and move to anywhere I please) for a whole host of reasons (the £10m Manchester United paid to buy him from Sporting Lisbon is just one). A quick example would be a footballer being misled by the agent representing him and signing a five-year contract with club X. No matter how much he's being compensated for playing for them, if he wants to leave, I think he should have the right to do so. |

Bollocks to that. This has been discussed for the past thirty years and the discussion has led us to the status quo (Latin for "this balls up"). Anyway, they won't take our advice. Try to interest yourselves in a proper man's sport like ice hockey. Tip: Steve is always right. —Bishop

The rest of the United squad must think he's a right prick for being so adamant in wanting to go to Real Madrid. It's too in your face and like saying that his current club is just a pit-stop. And the wanker can't even score in a penalty shoot out. Do the Sttttttutter-Step! And discussing a real man's sport...rugby. Oh wait. All that grabbing under the groin is a bit poofy |

That's because you aren't getting paid millions. They pay him to take away those rights. |
