If a guy or girl said to you that they needed time to think if it was YOU they wanted, how long would you give them? Or would you just not wait and say F off! I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. A guy kind of broke it off and the day after he says he just needs time to think. I really like him and i'm willing to wait. Don't know why coz the fool hurt me a lot saying that. What would you do? Imagine you've been around this person for 14 mnths most days. Should I contact him and ask him if he's come to a decision? Is 3 weeks not enough? :-s

Generally if they've hurt you a lot, and then leave you be, they're generally not worth it and unlikely to change. Break fresh and enjoy life.

I presume you're still fairly young.

Same age as me, heh. I've been there and done that. You think they're are the one, but they're not. Love is blind, and often the downfall most have in a relationship. You don't realise the imperfections and what everyone else has been saying until you take a step back and look back at it, and laugh. In fairness, just move on, you'll appreciate it later, and never regret it or have what if's or maybe's.

Three weeks is a hell of a long time too. It'll probably never be "how it was". It's not worth it.

Good luck with whatever you do decide on.
