There was an annoying guy who did this at Bank underground station in London. I always used to see him on my way to work. I'm glad I don't go through there any more, I always wanted to knock that stupid ball out of his hand.

He always wore sandals too. Even in blistering cold.

Nah, it's not even stupid. It's basic human nature. I've been called American here in Japan so many times it just rolls off my back now! It's in people's nature to assume that the people they see fit into their expected categories. White people are American, Asians are Chinese, brown people are muslims and blacks are...well blacks are just black. My point in bringing up the fact that not all Asians are Chinese was just to give some food for thought - some people can get quite offended when presumed to be a nationality they aren't, especially when they have a chip on their shoulder about that nationality (like Chinese and Japanese do about each other). I used to get right annoyed when people assumed I was American!

Same stupid stuff I've actually done myself. I'm having hard times dissimilating Canadians to Americans, British to Canadians, including this European people! Funny how we Asians categorized them as just Americans when they're not!

But to learn that white people do the same to us Asians makes me feel, ah we're even! lol

Well, good thing I am Filipina, you will recognize that I'm Asian but won't say I am Chinese!

I saw this on digg.com yesterday and wanted to try it. So I grabbed a small glass ball that was in my house for decoration. Needless to say I have glass in my rug now....

because over 60% of the world population is asian. Just plain old statistics, you'll see more of them do tricks than the 8% north americans or 11% europeans.
