You can't just use the vending machines on every street corner like everyone else?

NYC just raised its tobacco tax. Cigarettes are now over $8/pack (that's high for the US). Glad I don't smoke anymore.

I believe it's €4,20, so $6,50 around here.

Don't really smoke. Every once in a few months I buy a pack to smoke when I'm at a party or so. And if I need tobacco to roll something else to smoke...

First of juli there's a smoking ban coming for restaurants, bars, pubs, and such, in the Netherlands. Not too sure what to think about that. It will be just weird to be at a hip-hop gig in Amsterdam where everyone has to take their blunts outside.

I just quit in Jan myself. For the second time - quit for 7 years previously! Smoked on and off for 5 years, then went cold turkey again. That's it, no more of the (non-wacky) tobaccy for me!

It's been like that for years over here. I've found a couple hole-in-the-wall bars where they don't really care but its common practice to smoke up outside.

A pack is also $4.50 - $5 here. I really don't understand why it's so much cheaper here in LA then NYC. I would have imagined LA would bump cigarette taxes too.

Already got em! Beer and sake vending machines all over the place. I have one just outside my front door, about a 1 minute walk down the street!
