I had a good look through both sites, the only similarity I can find is that the pages are the same width and use a logo + top banner combo. For the time when you were using the same background image, you should have kept your original and then you might have had a case to force them to use another background image, but since you changed your background image - the site look in no way similar. The code and all the classes are different as much as a website can be different (I mean, we all use markup language). Currently you have no case, and are very vocal about it. I'm afraid I don't see your point. Take it as a compliment they tried to emulate your site, but to be honest, they have improved on your design. |

I can totally see places where they've improved on my design.. I will agree the code is different.. The problem is the Look and feel is not all that different.. You can tell someone derived their works from mine.. None the less, some agree, some disagree, it's really all in the eyes of the beholder.. and since that's my baby, i'm standing up for it.. |

but being so vocal about it, replying to your own thread 100 times, is just far too opinionated. You're blanketing your own campaign. If people really think it's an injustice you should let them make up their own minds and start their own discussions and carry the torch for you. No good running down the street carrying your own torch screaming injustice asking for everyones approval because we are inside watching TV and don't give a monkeys. |
