Anyone here been able to get through to buy tickets for Glastonbury?
Been trying to get through all morning with fuck all luck.

I'm not into festivals and the like. Got a family member who can get access all areas passes, I turned them down.

nha. I did fancy T in the Park but couldn't afford it. THining of stewarding at the Isle of Skye Festival this year though.

Having not applied any research into this at all, someone who's done it before said it was a 2 tier application process; something about the first stage needing your photograph? Is that right?

coulda gone VIP to glastonbury, ageing hippies aren't really my thing though... going to reading instead, still VIP though! hot showers and flushing toilets, awesome.

Seems there are quite a few tickets still unsold: BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Glastonbury tickets remain unsold

I'm not a Glasgonbury fan, don't think I'd go see any band on the bill except Biffy Clyro.

nah i doubt it - it will still be the same people going....

i think tickets are only unsold because after last years mud bath the people who have jumped on the glastonbury bandwagon to be seen to be cool have now jumped off as it was hard going (seriously hard going)... which is great... the fact that the main headliners arent as good as previous years means that the media frenzy isnt as much as it was in previous years hence slow ticket sales.

i just wish i was there now shit headliners or not

Ha. Reading was wank 10 years go, now it is a disaster. You should have taken the Glasto option, as said the back stages look good. Much more variety.

Went to reading last year and had a good time, backstage wasn't fantastic, mainly full of rich crackhead fashionistas/darling socialites and all that shit. Best thing about it was being able to take your own beer through and not have to pay a fuckload for pints inside, oh and also bypassing the massive queue and not having to shit on shit mountain... anyone who went to reading in the last few years will know what I mean...

glasto's lost it's charm for me.

Last time I went Our tent was robbed/knifed my car was broken into and my mate was beaten up.

Not the love fest it used to be.
