Royal mail

Does anyone know if I can send a postcard with a white out reversed address?

It will have good contrast.

The Royal mail site is doing my head in. Can only find PPI requirements.

Have you got an email address i can send the PDF to? It's too big to attach on here. PM with it so the SPAM bots don't find you

If you can read it you can probably send it.

Print one out and send it to yourself and see if you get it.

yeah thats always a good idea. I used to work in a post office and we used to stick stamp stickers (not proper stamps) and we got mail through easily.

A mate of mine photocopied the pre-paid first class icon you get and stuck it on a letter to himself as a test. Got through fine. The system is toss.

Although I do recall that due to a loophole in the British legal system, forging stamps with the queens head on them is still an offence punishable by death.

Probably an urban myth, but I hope its true. cba to google it.

I know royal mail have guidlines coming out of their arris, but it does state quick explicitly that it should not be reversed...

I know from working on direct mail that the rules can be bent slightly, but I think the reverse address is OTT.

Oh well.

pretty sure that myth extends to defacing acoin or bank note. anything with the head of state on it that is defaced can be classed as treason. well at least that was the myth i was told.
