grammar

in my uni the president elections are on. there's one main candidate and his poster reads

"vote luke, i keep my promise's"

is this right? should it not be "promises"

theres hundreds of posters, all a wth the same use of promise's.

I seem to be the only one in the college who cares...so maybe im wrong.

clarification please

Yep, should just be 'promises' as it's a plural.

Where's Coops?

You sir (2D fruit) are correct.

But hey, Bush managed to get into office twice and the guy can't speak proper English. So maybe it doesn't matter.

It pains me to see people like this, especially the pluralisation of photo, nearly everyone at uni here writes 'photo's' on posters and stuff, tres annoying.

e.g 'Coops photo's'

This is grammar on a very, very basic level and the offender should be tortured.

Couldn't you scrawl all over it?

Something like: "Vote Luke, I keep my promise's true meaning hidden in bad grammar."

Coops... does that work?
