For anyone that missed the news, sickening injury. I just hope the lad is ok.

Yeah Hope he's ok, it was a bad one, I broke the Tib and Fib playing football 1 1/2 years ago and this is me just getting back to match fitness again. Its a long hard road but Arsenal will take care of him. The bad thing about his is its a compound fracture which means the bone came through the skin, causing possible infection, not good. All the best to Eduardo, great young player with a bright future.

Arsene:

On the tackle on Eduardo...
"The injury is the result of a very bad tackle. The first diagnosis we have of the injury is very, very bad. I would not like to go into medical details because I am not qualified enough but the first news is very bad. He is in hospital."

On it possibly ending his career...
"I don't know. I would not go as far as that but it does not look good."

Welcome. I hope you have learnt to avoid leg-breaking tackles.

Apparently they were close to having to amputate his foot, due to complications involving damaged blood vessels.

ESPNsoccernet - England - Specialist claims Eduardo could have lost foot

Typical Wenger response tho, "Taylor should never play again"

twat.
