How can they justify the fine?

Party gets out of hand, kid did what he was told, police ran away?

I really like that guy as well, well done to him for standing up to that pathetic presenter.

That is absolutely appalling news reporting in my opinion, narrow-minded bigotry of the worst kind, only looking at the viewpoint of the elders. He didn't do anything wrong, his guests did, why should he be blamed? Chuck $40 a head for the people there are you've got the money.

The kid has been on aussie tv a lot over the last few days and he is a bit of a tool. however the tv show she is from is a mockery to current affair shows everywhere, pathetic "journalism" at its best. she ended up looking sillier the he did.

Part 2 - YouTube - Corey Worthington ACA SECOND TIME

What's funny is that A Current Affair are the ones who will be responsible for rewarding this guy with fame and fortune. Not a fan of the kid, but he's a little easier to take than the conservative hack 'journalists' they have at ACA.

Just thought you guys would like to know but the kid just got arrested.

The Melbourne teenager who threw a wild party for 500 people has been arrested by police.

A Victoria Police spokesman said 16-year-old Corey Delaney was taken into custody by police on Wednesday morning and was being interviewed at the Narre Warren police station about the party.

"After the interview (police) will decide their course of action," he said.

Earlier, Corey walked out of an interview with Melbourne FM radio station Fox FM when a presenter attempted to pull off his sunglasses.

what the fuck is wrong with the 'older people' in australia?

just because the kid has an attitude, holds his ground and knows that it was the people at the party at fault not him, why the fuck are people harassing him so much? presenter trying to pull off his glasses? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU. If he was a muslim wearing a bhurka would they try pull that off? No.

Retarded people, let him be, let the money be raised and leave it alone, ffs.

The moral of the story is...

Don't advertise your party on myspace.

To further update the story one of the 16 yr olds arrested yesterday is being charged with creating child pornography at the party.

And while the reporting on this story by various so called "current affairs" programs has been ridiculous, the kid has to take some responsibility for the damage i mean it was his party and he admitted to inviting all 500 people, you would have to think if all those people in one house all getting hammered so is gonna go wrong.
