Does anyone know what its called when a flash banner actually pops out its space when you roll over it and does anyone have any info on how to create these or how much more expensive they are? cheers

Overlay?

Don't know if that's it's technical term but Tango Zebra do that sort of thing and coined the phrase.

Expandable or Overlay.

Depends who the ad management company is for how you create them.
For Eyeblaster, who we use, you have to make the unexpanded and expanding elements as separate flash assets, else you would have a big initial load.

either way the expanding bit is one flash movie with a transparent background.

More expensive? to make or to deliver?

Well I'd be making the flash files myself if I find out how to do the overlay. I have been making up normal flash banners for my company and was wondering how much more it would cost to put the overlay ones on the net.
