Yeah, I'm glad I've got PS3, may well be a better bet in the long run. Mind you, I've nothing against the 360, games look fine. The only things that pisses me off about them is how lacking in features they are for a supposedly 'next-gen' console. No HD-DVD/Blu-Ray as standard, and no HDMI output is a joke for the 'premium version'?! That and how noisy they are. After spending over £1,000 on a large Bravia HDTV I wasn't going to consider buying something with no HDMI. |

Call of Duty 4 is ace, but I'm playing it on the PC. It would be pretty cool if it was possible to play online against PC, xbox and PS3 gamers at the same time. You should play Crisis, the graphics and the physics are amazing. I much prefer the singleplayer on Call of Duty 4 though. |

I would get a top of the range PC, even better in the long run and the graphics on a PC are a lot better than PS3 or Xbox 360. |

something i have been considering also. but don't really want to shell out that much money just for playing the odd game. really fancied buying an imac to replace my old gaming pc but the imacs current spec of graphics card is a bit of a dud for games. anti social marketing

You will have to pay over £1000 for top of the range, so maybe it's not worth it if you don't play games often enough. |

The control method is indeed rubbish compared to the PC - nothing beats keyboard and mouse. I was going to get a new PC for gaming purposes but then realised that for the price of a new graphics card alone I was well on the way to an xbox 360 (GTA IV!!!) - PC gaming can be expensive. Not only that but with xbox gaming you know no one is cheating, and that almost everyone else is stuck with the crappy control pad as well. At least its an improvement on the old xbox pads. unconsolidated isoparms

yeah glitchers... one thing i'll miss about PC gaming is when you tell a noob that Alt+F4 was a super invincibility cheat. Hours of fun... If your colours are starting to run, let them all run, run away from you. Flux - Bloc Party
