Same old stuff, year in, year out. Gawd it drives me mad.

Same thing here. I try to avoid exposure to tv and radio starting around November 1st and make sure I have some raucous MP3 music in my ears when I go into department stores after that time. Coupled with the fact that Finnish carols sound more like funeral dirges, the whole idea of xmas music churns my guts.

ha ha so true. The ones at my local shopping centre are freaky as fuck. The move there arms and heads but stay on the spot. and whats even more freaky is the fact that they don't have any eyes, just a black hollow. I'm surprised there was children crying and screaming everywhere.

the worst thing about the xmas period in general are all the people who go out once a year and act like a tit, making it impossible to get in or get served in the pubs and bars you've been drinking in all year.

The worst thing about Christmas is the day after, or as I like to call it: "Christmas Hangover".

You wake up and realize that you've spent months of preparing and spending money, just for it to be over. And then you have to put the damn decorations and lights away.

Mad Friday - last friday before xmas is when town centre is full of people having early finish from work, out on piss and knobheads by 4pm, carnage by 7pm.
