Not really design related, but don't forget the daddy of them all, the British Museum is still free to enter. One of the few genuine bargains left in the capital. I used walk around it frequently when I was looking for somewhere peaceful for a bit of reflection or inspiration.

Absolutely, and indeed pretty much everything in there is a product of design at some point in history. What I was meaning to say was that it wasn't directly design or art focused in the sense of the Design Museum or the Tate, but I agree with your point.

Go see the Zaha Hadid exhibition before it closes. It really is quality.
