Quote for a website
This is a question for all the web designers out there. I am looking for a site that would be at least as complex as say CNN.com. Complex in that there would be alot of media, up to date news stories etc. This site would also include a profile/networking section for users similar to facebook and myspace. If you were quoting someone to build this site what would you charge based on the information provided? |

I agree. Development time would be a factor as well, something like that would drag on for a year or more. Plus of course hosting, you would need a hefty bunch of servers to mimic CNN / Facebook et al. unconsolidated isoparms

It wouldn't have to be as large as CNN.com right from the start. What about if it was a front page with news and media (Some video). And then it had links to the social network part of the site. I guess i didn't word it very well. If it was just a social networking site alone, how much would i be looking at? Btw thank you all for the replies |
