It's more like 45 degrees than 36. Some neighbour returned after a week there on Tuesday and said they couldn't bear to even walk around the village. Total waste of a vacation.
In spite of having that low pressure area that caused the UK flooding come straight at us, the temps have stayed reasonable - right now (16:10) it's 27 with a light breeze. I might just about venture out for a sixpack of fermented reindeer milk.

i've come back from 'lanzslagote' where we maxed out about 35-37 degrees and that was swelteringly hot, luckily for us since we stayed out til about 5-6am we woke up after the hottest of the hot, have a good'un.

I don't go outside if the temp gets over 25, if I can help it. I hate the heat and the bright sunlight.

The hottest I ever experienced was 41C in Madrid during an Interrail tour. I got on the next air-conditioned Talgo and headed for Switzerland.
