Complete rip off of my site's content

I've gotten quite used to other "web designers" ripping off the text content of my site, or at least bits and pieces. After all, we all borrow from each other a little. But this one site I came across did a complete rip off, word for word, of my content - including the testimonials from my clients!

What a f*&king jerk. Here's the link to the asshole's site:
thunderdepot.com/webdesignservices.htm

Here's the link to my site:
jesseyoung.com

As you can see, in his web site design area he's taken it all word for word. What a lazy bum.

OK, done venting now.

Give him a time limit. Say...24 hours...before you contact a lawyer.

Then follow through. If you know any lawyers, ask them if they'll write a quick "cease and desist" for you.

There are two phone numbers for "Ryan Everson": 1-810-476-4670 and 1-810-701-2539

Report him to the Michigan Better Business Bureau.

And here's a little SEO for him. fraud thief scam criminal

Thanks, PGO. I like the idea of using fraud thief scam criminal for Ryan Eversen

It honestly seems unlikely that this would be something that would ever hold up in court. I've had this happen a ton of times, but never so blatently. To rip off my client testimonials is really the lowest.

Forgive me, because I know you're pissed, but it struck me as amusing that the only service description he hasn't stolen from you is:

"Content Writing for Websites"

Clearly it's not his strong point.

Still looks unchanged to me. It's the content he ripped off, not the design.

Send a message via MSN to Larixk
that's what you get for separating style from content.

Have you already contacted the guy?

Yeah, I wrote to him yesterday and said that I was going to call a lot of attention to the fact that he ripped me off. Of coure, I don't expect to hear back.

I've had this happen a number of times, so I'm kind of used to it. But this guy is really the lowest.
