the other day I was just remembering when I was a kid I used to really hate budget day because they used to show it on the telly on EVERY channel ALL day long.
nowt on telly for an enitre day & night was absolute torture.
was it really necessary to show the entire frigging thing??
just summarise it on the 6 oclock news ffs!

Cigarettes are so insanely expensive in GB - as is pipe tobacco - that I really wonder at smokers' sanity.
I think a packet of Marlboro costs about €4.20 in Finland - that's half-a-crown EACH in old money!
