I've been so impressed by gmail that £27 for a 10gig version with no adverts is worth the entrance fee alone. Super Hans: People like Coldplay and voting for the Nazis. You can't trust people, Jeremy.

run this by me again 1. Gmail can be run off a domain e.g: gmail.mydomain.com? 2. Can be used as a server for mail, 3. Can be customised and skinned via the api & css? 4. Can send mail without the naff - from: user@mydomain dot com on behalf of user@gmail dot com? ...If so I think this is going to be the best thing that ever happend to small resellers/designers - as, like frelancr, I have to deal with lame e-mail servers all the time... added: http://www.google.com/a/help/intl/en.../editions.html - to sign up for trial free until end of April. |

Google Apps found it finally! lol. Quick question, if I wanted an account and so did my mum and dad they don't but just for the same of argument) do i pay the £27 3 times?? it is per year aswell btw. Just found out yes, yes I do. lol |

why pay? I mean yeah for the extra space, but otherwise 2 gig per email address is enough for most clients. I actually Just set this up for a small client - sorted thier Pop access through the gmail apps so they collect thier email in outlook as they would otherwise - they never even go near gmail (which would just confuse them anyway). service as usual but no ads, and very little spam.  |
