Quite simply unbelievable - why oh why

This is NOT what you think. I'm not talking unbelievable in a good way here.

Here is the website of greggs bakery brass band. For those using internet explorer, it's what I would class as a website from the mid 90s. Pretty cheesy all-round. Nothing special you say.

HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE USING FIREFOX YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A VERY DIFFERENT PHENOMENON.

greggsband.co.uk

can ANYONE explain how this is possible? For those who can't see it, in Firefox, it shows as complete interference. TRES bizarre indeed.

by the way, this is NOT my site I'll have you know, i just came across it and laughed out loud, then cried a little

It looks like it was made in some Microsoft Office application as evidenced by the Microsoft proprietary code found throughout.

Obviously, the person who made it has no idea what they're doing.

i loaded it in firefox first and thought for a moment it might actually be some sort of "style" - albeit gone badly wrong! it's just tragic that not only was it done in frontpage, but they didn't even check it in anything other than IE!

there really should be licencing for web designers - you should have to pass an exam!

haha. This band are well known in this region of the country. Which makes it doubly worse that their website is shite.

Of course, one could suggest to them that they consider redoing their site but.. no, actually, there's something quaint about it. It'll be some guy's pride and joy. Who'd wanna take that away from him. Also, I've never seen a site quite like it.

Let's leave it as it is for us all to enjoy. Another reason to upgrade to Firefox perhaps..

Once again I am reminded of Bill Gates' insistance that MicroSoft has no low quality products. Just look at the source code! There's more of it than in a Vista Security Update.
