Do you know the type of file that you are producing? I'm guessing its a WMV. If so, the Mac (Apple computer) must have a copy of Windows Media Player, or even better, the Flip4Mac plugin that in my opinion is a must-have for any Mac user. Windows Media Player (a pain to use) Windows Media Components for Quicktime by Flip4Mac(much easier and enjoyable experience) By default, a Mac comes with Quicktime, which can play MPG, MOV, AVI, MPEG, and MP4 among others. Essentially, Mac users can watch pretty much all of the open-standard video formats - but this doesnt include Microsoft-created stuff (by default). On a Mac, get the WM player or plugin and you should be good to go. The key thing: there is no way to play protected (DRM) WMV on a Mac - but it doesn't sound like this should be an issue. |
