Inspired from a thread on Typophile, what are the best and worst aspects of being a Graphic Designer?

BEST: You get paid for doing a hobby

WORST: Your enjoyment of a pint in the pub is ruined by a poorly designed beer-mat.

Your definition of a dirty word is comic sans.

You notice helvetica's quest for world domination.

You actually stare at designs on girls tshirts, not their tits. You get punched when it's a bloke.

When you make a mistake in real life, you scream "Apple Z! Apple Z!!!!"

Best. Getting paid to immerse yourself in something that you enjoy.
Worst. 'I would like an all-singing, all-dancing MySpace copy, I've got a budget of £50, but hey my 13yr nephew can make websites in frontpage so it can't be that hard'.

worst thing about studying design: having your upper middle mates studying law and politics look down on you for 'playing on photoshop' all day.

best thing about studying design: knowing in 15 years i won't be teaching law and politics to high school kids.
