Got my car insurance renewal today - £790-ish for a 2l mondeo with 3 years no claims!!!!

Went online to their website and EXACTLY the same cover £590 - over £200 cheaper. On phoning them no-one could explain why they were trying to rip me off. I've also got every other insurance with them including home contents, breakdown so you think they might play nice.

Now I probably would've stayed with them automatically if the quote was decent but now they can fuck right off - tesco are quoting £450 so I think its time for a change.

the Prudential knocked off £100 notes when I complained about their broken website, take it higher.

I used to get great service from the AA (http://www.theaa.com/insurance/index.jsp) - course it's been a few years so I don't know how competitive they are now.
