Who or what is nomcom and what is the point of spamming a forum? Have you offended someone Oli?

I've noticed a load of "crap" (excuse my French) messages from non-members i.e. guests I would suggest only allowing those that are members of the forum can post to the forum.

Also as pointed out by Stickman the poster nomcom has been posting a lot of non-sensical posts that should be removed. As stated in your own forum rules:

I thought this had already been done after members complained about posting when they'd forgotten to log in and been seen as guests. Maybe this was reset when the forum moved or something...

Also, as the respectable Bill Posters points out here, this won't help the growth of the forum and needs deleting as it happens.

Oli - you need to appoint some moderators who are regular visitors to delete such rubbish just as the create forum did.

Good morning, Well I've deleted all those posts and banned the IP range of the person responsible ; obviously some kiddie with too much time on his hands.
I do think we need some moderators just to make sure this kind of thing doesnt happen in the future.
Ill start a new thread for this.
