Competition! (scene 369 / nervousroom)

(what about creating a new forum called 'competitions'? am i a categorisation freak?)
anyway... if you go to the [color=green:56aeeb51b8][b:56aeeb51b8][u:56aeeb51b8]nervousroom[/u:56aeeb51b8][/b:56aeeb51b8][/color:56aeeb51b8] site... they have a competiotion going on... very broad theme...: Everyday Life!

NO! I mean this has to go into the 'General Discussion' forum coz there is nowhere else to put this in!
I mean, this is not [i:7befde145a]general[/i:7befde145a] stuff... eh?

Do you mean you want a seperate forum to discuss and link to design competitions?

it's not that I [i:88043c6ff7]want[/i:88043c6ff7] one - but suggest it might be handy!
I believe competitions are quite a magnet - might be nice to separate them... so they are easier to spot.

(lol² are you psychic? )
Ha! yes they are - when you have 300+ how are you ever going to find what you're looking for??? (Books are ordered after subject though... anything else would be daft!)
Nah, seriously - think about it: there is a section about [i:ab5499dc1f]music[/i:ab5499dc1f] (respect!) ...but... I am actually quite a messy person (my gf can tell you everything about it) but when it comes to visual communication I have my 'rules' based on logic... common sense... (the kind of stuff that made Jacob Nielsen famous. Cheap fame!)
I believe, that less is more. If [i:ab5499dc1f]options[/i:ab5499dc1f] are given in smaller groups at a time - it makes the selection process clearer and quicker! So, if the forums are structured (that word again in a conveniant way - it will/might be quicker for people to find what they are looking for AND they might even end up posting in the right forum Consider it a habit that should really be instinctual (=oxymoron?)
Besides, I posted this in the wrong forum in the first place - there [i:ab5499dc1f]is[/i:ab5499dc1f] a 'competitions' forum... it's just been used for the posts about the 'local' design competition. Better think twice next time...
(we always end up talking about all sorts of other things - is this my influence? sorry guys)
