118118 - The Wrong Number

these people have really annoyed me over recent weeks.

1. they have given me wrong numbers on both occasions i've tried them

2. you phone back to complain, they can't refund you and they charge you for the extra call too.

now Oftel are on their case:

I heard about this. They get a bonus if they deal with you in 40 seconds or less, so some workers have just been giving out any old number to win bonuses.

Shows initiative though...

apparently one employee gave out the number for pizza hut to every enquiry
