Drawing: Digital vs Manual

Any thoughts on whether digital drawing is still drawing?
When presenting 'drawings' in a personal portfolio... should hand drawing be separated from digital? After all, digital drawing is not as 'imperfect' as manual... (even if you use a tablet) and can also be easier manipulated than the stuff you do on paper.
Anybody out there with a similar dilema?

I'm on a drawing course at the moment as I've been designing for the web since 1993 and thats always been a gap in my skills.

But when I feel ready to start cracking cool stuff out I'll probably only scan it then manipulate it with other digital art pieces
