Need a really really really long scroll bar, has started to fuzz at the ends, I'm guessing the above is the reason but just wanted to check.

Don't want to start synamically placing the images at the edge of the stage just before they are needed if I don't have to, far too much like hassel. Unless anyone can think of an alternative way of doing it?

I filled up a movie clip with images but now the images at the extremities don't render properly (turn into bands of colour like a spectrum loading) = movieClip widtht limit ???

Is that better ?

I had this prob at one point, this might be the same

I dont think there is a definable limit there, except what your machine can handle. Try freezing images towards the center and see if the edges smooth up.

just checked and I'm not sure, if you try to position an object -4000 say off the stage using co-ordinates in the authoring tool you get an error.

If you slide the bar that far manually the images seem to blur... so is this to do with what my machine can handle, or a flash limitation?

Guess it's time to hit the scripted version can't be arsed...

This might not be a solution if you need them all in the same movie...but how about 4 different movies, say 1000 px wide, side by side?

Thats how it's gonna end up I think (though I think the inmages will all be seperate jpgs loaded into movie clips) I was just trying to find a way to avoid coding the order etc to produce the scrolling... shouldn't be too hard (I've got some stuff I've done already to base it on) I just can't be arsed to do it ;(
