Flash photo banner - help!
I am designing a web site and need to create a photo banner as easily as I can - are there any free / cheap online or software ways of doing this without having adverts or website name on the finished product? I am after a rectangular banner with about 10 photos, with movement to zoom in or out on each shot. To have an idea of what I am after - have a look at the banner on this website. Use Google to find it - Queensway Primary School Banbury Thanks for any help / advice you can give Cliveuk |

You might like to consider options other than flash - JQuery, a very flexible javascript system, can produce pretty handy slide shows and for the sort of thing you're considering it might actually be easier to implement. That Queensway site has some brutal cropping on it's images >.< niggle is right use jQuery, to be honest even then there will be some people with java turned off that won't see it but the number with Flash blocked is likely to be higher and you'll probably end up lighter weight with the jQuery solution too. |
