Looping a clip whilst playing on animation
hey there, im fairly new to flash, I'm sure this is super simple but I just can't get my head around it at the mo....I have a movie clip on one layer of my timeline, which I want to loop, whilst still allowing the master timeline to play on. I have an action in the movie clip to loop it although I did read somewhere that they should loop automatically....mine is looping but with a big gap of nothing for bout 10 seconds, and the rest of the animation won't play. so, how can I loop the clip and let the animation play on at the same time? also, as the mc is looping with space in between, how do I get rid of the space? I've tried placing blank frames at the end on all layers of the mc time line but doesn't make a difference. cheers for any help |

About the looping: there's a difference between having blank keyframes and having no keyframes. You should remove all keyframes on all layers after the frame where the animation should loop. Having blank keyframes will just make the animation stand still for a while. |
