SWFaddress
I have only just discovered this Flash Browser Back/Forward Navigation, Browser Title, Bookmarking and Deep-linking made easy with SWFAddress on BLITZ Labs, the BLITZ Agency Blog I am finding it hard to get my head around how to actually use it, If any one knows of any tutorials pls post |

its a deep linking tool, but there is an easier way! use folders! just use different folders for each section of your one swf file. Your swf will be at the root of your site and then you'll have different folders, one for each section of the swf, with an index within. Those indexes will embed the same flash file, but pass different flashvars to it. In the swf its set up to display different content based on the flashvar passed to it..and wa la deep bookmarkable links! back button and all! simple ..and without any setIntervals, swfaddress is full of them, and does not work in all browsers. hope this helps |
