Flash Wisdom

Hi folks

I'm getting back into flash - it's been a while so I thought I'd start a thread for good flash resources to help for a range of abilities (ala CSS wisdom). It might be useful to split the thread at a later date.

So let's have it - your best advice/links/resources for flash based design. Tutorials, member groups, forums, wiki's, RSS... the whole shebang.

Please post links of high quality only. Not links to mom and pop's lame adsense ridden tut sites please.

Actionscript.org Flash, Flex & ActionScript Resources and Tutorials - one of the homes of actionscript. Seems good.

one of the better ones, "Help" in the toolbar is one of the best for reference, once you have the hang of the syntax

Only got Flash MX here - Is that going to cause me problems? I think MX runs AS2.0 - but can't find it in the docs...

MX is AS 2.0 obviously there is AS 3.0 to contend with now as well so it's probably best to learn all about Object Orientated styles of coding - off the timeline, and use of classes to be safe

You might go AS3 using the free Flex 2 compiler.

Combine that with FlashDevelop (open source eclipse-like actionscript ide), and you get a better coding experience without paying (adobe, or anyone) a penny.

Might require some skill, setting it up.

Mostly actionscript 3. Although some as2 stuff prolly sneaks it way into some of the links.

Can't post links....

gotoandlearn.com - Free video tutorials by Lee Brimelow on the Flash Platform -Pretty good videotuturials
senocular.com : News -blog, sourcefiles and tuturials
:::::::: Liquid Journey ::::::: -opensource flash sourcefiles(mostly as2)
Levitated | Levitated Daily Source, the good source -Incredible almost unreal math(mostly as2, but all sourcefiles available)
tweener - Google Code -Really useful tweening class(both as2 and as3)

Might think of more later but these will have to do for now!
