does any body know if there are any good tutorials for creating buttons by using arrays and for loops, ive being told its the way to go when designing buttons

Are you doing this in as2 or as3?

Either way the general idea is to use the array to hold the references of the buttons and use the loop to create multiple buttons without having to write the same code over and over again.
