I have made a preloader for my flash movie. My flash movie is a sliding content webpage. Beneath the movie are my buttons which control the movement of the pages from left to right. It works fine.
However, when I move the entire sliding content movie to the second keyframe and insert my preloader on the first frame, the preloader alone, and then I hit ctrl enter to preview my product, the buttons don't work! What the @#!$ is up with it! It functions perfectly without a preloader and with it, no movement what so ever! The preloader works perfectly.
Does anyone have any idea what may be the problem?

where is your as code?

My action script is inside the invisible buttons. The invisible buttons are on the layer above the buttons, both of which are on the second keyframe.

This isn't really a solution, but just try debuging it. Move everything to the second frame, without putting the preloader in. Try putting the preloader in the second frame. Make sure all actions are moved to the second frame. If you get really desperate, try putting the page in a movie clip and putting the clip in the second frame.
