director/flash projector backgrounds

Does anybody know if it's possible to use a tiled bitmap as a background for fullscreen projectors in either flash or director?

The default publish settings for director only allow you to use a specified colour as the background/border outside the movie area for anthing you publish as full screen. I can't find anyway of doing even this in director.

What I'm trying to do is to publish an 800 x 600 movie/projector that will be centred in the screen with the external tiled border/background visble to users with higher resolutions.

Any ideas, cos I'm drawing a blank so far.

make a web page using the tiled images. capture it and use it in flash background. use a 24 bit png file and it looks lovely boyo.

I'll try it, but will that centre up a flash movie of 800 x 600 with the tile back ground displaying outside of that on resolution of say 1450x1100 (or whatever)?.

Was just gonna deliver the disc as dual platform cd-rom with all the content inside a director projector shell.
