Hi,

I am loading images dynamically into a loader component in Flash. As this is working dynaically in real time there is a delay while the image is loading into the component.

I am using this piece of AS on a button

Code:

on (release) {
	myLoader.contentPath = "images/image-4.jpg";
}

How would I invoke a preloader or even a movie clip to display while the image is loading.

Check out this site. Kirupa gives a great explanation in all of tutorials.

If that doesn't help, search the site a bit. There are multiple tutorials.
