VERY basic preloader advice...

Hi guys...

Well i`ve been searching, and havent found an answer...

Basically, I am creating a site that has html with embeded flash on every page. What i want to know is should i use 1 big mutha preloader to load ALL the flash on ALL the pages before the site is accessed, or should i have a preloader within each individual page?

The only online version is here...

LaGrafica - Damn Fine Design if you click Services, Contact and Stuff u'll see 3 diff movies. The final version will have a movie on everypage.

Also.... i`ve never created a preloader.. any decent tutorials to create a simple loader...

Hope you can help people.

I presume you mean loading in different content into the same flash element depending on the page, and if you should use a preloader for each individuals content page.

Preloading all the content is essentially hijacking the users connection to get content they may never see, and will detrimentally effect any other programs that require internet access.

There are various ways of building a preloader and the complexity of the one you use should be based on the type, size and importance of the flash content your delivering. Use the google...

At first I thought that preloader would be hard to do but they are surprisingly easy to make. The only potential problem that I can see is deciding which one to use lol. Flash Perfection - Flash Tutorials should give you a few.
