Text in Flash
I posted this elsewhere but got no solution: I've used a Flash template from templatemonster at ushersrestaurant.com Could someone tell me why the text in a dynamic text box (Menu page) is sharp, whereas the same font (Arial), same pt size text in static text boxes on the other pages appears blurred? Also, is it possible to change navigation to single click eg music on/off? Cheers |

Hi there GrahamT, I replied to this question the first time anyway to answer your question, it will be because you'll be using a pixel font? if you are then the pixel font has to be set at the right pixel size that the font is intended for. and then if everything is the same and one is blurred, pixel fonts need to be set to sit directly on the pixel grid. when you see the properties of the text make sure that its position is set to a rounded off number eg. x = 192.0 and not x = 192.3 etc etc. this will cause it to be blurred. hope this helps |

Depends what your definition of 'blurred' is, I'm guessing you mean anti-aliased (smoothed edges), in which case you need to turn off anti-aliasing on your static text to achieve the same 'sharp' look that you're getting with your dynamic text. Dynamic text cannot be anti-aliased wheras static text is anti-aliased by default. Stand Free
