Hi there,

I am following a tutorial in making rollover gradient buttons. Im having trouble on step 11.
The instruction states to select frame one of layer 2 which is inside the button movie clip, to change the colour to alpha at 0%. But there is no option for alpha when I select it, but only when I come out of the movie clip there is. But when I apply that then the two images of the same button (the idle and rollover image) become transparent.
What am I doing wrong? Here are two screenshots.

you can only change the alpha if the object is a symbol. it's looks like you're trying to change the alpha of a png. I would make the png a movieclip and then change the alpha.
