Flash: Importing Jpegs (smoothing)

I've made a flash file that imports jpegs at run time, the images are rather large as I have a zoom effect. Is there away of smoothing the jpegs? Or are they already smoothed by default?

When you import an image fileinto flash you can set the way it is displayed and compressed, by setting the properties by clicking on the image in the library. You can set flash to smooth out your image here, or change how it is treated i.e. a gif or jpg etc.

Is there anyway you can set these properties on jpgs that are imported at run time?
