How do you make hyper fast animations

Much like
http://64.207.133.120/Erain/devlab/devlabmain.asp

What is the method of this animation ? The blinking and such. I am trying to understand this Swift 3d program before I buy it but I dont see what helps to make this style of animation in flash or anything.

Are there any tutorials around ?? How long does it take to render stuff like that ? It lokks small since there are no gradients or raytraceing

You don't need swift for that. Jack your frame rate up to 30 or 50 and just do a series of tweens. For flashing and shit just make lots of keyframes of one stationary object and clearn some of the keyframes when you want it to blink.

It is time consuming, you just have to sit down and do it pretty much frame by frame, or do a small loop and copy the frames and repeat.

60 fps eh,, I thought that was a wrong thing to do >. Hmmmsss. Though it does suck that there are no tools to "make things bl;ink" and such.

SHpesh sha, books teach basics not style or skill, Learning from others in a mentor method is best .

Then goto school for it. Personally books taught me much of what I know - and I am happy with the flash skills I have learned from them.

Books give you a solid foundation, design and style are build into you (or at least harder to teach)- besides when i was in school my teachers created their lessons around books i actually owned - i always did well in exams, cuz I learned how to do the exact fucking thing before the test.

For that type of effect the best thing to do is piss around for an afternoon playing with different things. Its what I always do

To do something like that I would create a 12FPS animation and then boost the framerate like Y498 said. No mystery to it, just practice. You can make objects 'blink' using the '_visible' command and a little imagination.

Check out flashkit.com for loads of flash help.

Really? Honestly? I'd just animate it at the higher fps so you can see it as it'll look as you're working on it.

I'm sure there is, but have always found that it's processor speeed that kills it and drops frames first before any limit is reached.
