Soon to be college graduate- looking for work
Hi there. I am going to be graduating from college in may 2010, and i have been looking for job opportunities and interviews through services that my school provides. However, i have yet to find anything that is along the lines of what I am looking for. Does anyone have any advice, or know where I can go, to help aid my job search? |

if you are in the US, you can use Dice. Does not work terribly well outside of the US though. Other than that, there is no beating good old fashioned elbow grease. You need to go out and look for one, one will (most likely) not just drop into your lap. Jason Corradino

Yeah, would help knowing where you are (or where you want to end up) searching for a job in London is a bit different than looking for a job in the rest of the UK for instance. I spoke to a recruitment agency the other day and asked why they were hiring juniors right now (good for you being a recent graduate). He said because of the recession places need bodies but can't afford the salaries. Food for thought. Anyway, let us know where you are so we can possibly help you more. |
