Come and work for Tangozebra =)....Designers/Animators needed....

Hello all,

This is my first post and I am proud to tell you that I have recently been released from the shackles of agency-side recruitment and am working in-house for Tangozebra in London.

For those of you that don't know, TZ is a division of Doubleclick (well, Google now) and have a fully functional creative arm servicing 9 out of 10 of the world's top clients (amongst many more, of course). Please just Google for the name to see what's going on if you're not already familiar. They are famous for rich-media ad-serving but do sooooo much more I won't go into it now, just trust me on this one.

Also, I have a very BIG idea on how to help the world of freelance recruitment whilst taking money out of the agents hands' and putting it back into yours. I am having a good think about it at the moment and would like to speak to any experienced freelancers to ask you about your past experience of the client-direct and agency recruitment experience.

Anyway, on to my post:

I have a hiring plan for the next 12 months and would like to make myself known to you all. In terms of the design world I am looking for (I will add these jobs one by one as individual posts so salaries are excluded, the purpose of this is to open the door to anyone who would like to speak to me):

Designers (entry-level, mid-weight and senior - Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, experience with Rich-media etc.) for both contract and permanent work.

Animators (mainly senior - Flash skills essential) for predominantly contract work.

Flash Designers (mid-weight upwards) for short-burst contracts around the year.

Hybrids (Designer/Developers... Good designers with an ability to code.

HTML/Actionscript/Javascript or thereabouts) - If you have learnt to design in Flash and went on to learn some Actionscript to accompany it - then you are in a VERY good position in the industry. You will find growing requirements asking for you. I have permanent and pending contractual positions available.

Producers - Plenty of work available if you are a good all-rounder.

Please feel free to contact me directly to find out more. We are currently accepting applications for our freelance roster too so please feel free to contact me with regards to that too.

Thanks for reading.

I'd be interested but how flexible do you need freelancers to be? I'm guessing out-of-hours service would be frowned upon?
