Hi, everyone.

I am looking for a cartoon artist to draw me a simple cartoon drawing. The price for this one is $15 (paypal). Please, PM me for details with some samples of your work.

Thank you,

$15 isn't alot of money. I'm not saying you wouldn't get somebody to do it for you but remember that thats only £7.50. What's your cartoon for? What is it meant to be off? What size? All these things could effect the price.

Not trying to be a dick but thought i'd point that out.

For a measly $15 most people capable aren't going to spend time send YOU free samples - YOU should have told us what you want specifically from the outset other wise you are wasting people's time as well as money.

That is almost never the case. These people are usually amongst the most demanding, and least able to articulate a coherent thought about what they want.

It makes sense. When you don't have much money, you're going to second guess every decision, be jittery about spending even small amounts, demand grandiose results to justify the money spent, and in general be difficult to work with.

If this came with extensive, insightful requirements which were easy to understand, completed in one execution with no rework, and completed in fifteen minutes -- that's fine. These people figure a single dollar eliminates the need to understand their requirements, demand the designer read their mind, and do multiple versions and redesign.

And they monopolize your time with long, vague, rambling nonsense that has nothing to do with the project.

That's the opposite of fun.
