I'm looking for a designer to do the front end work on a web 2.0 project of mine but I don't want to pay. Instead, I'm proposing a skills exchange. My development work in exchange for your design work on an equal time basis. I'd prefer to work with rubyonrails but I'm also proficient in php and asp.net

I havn't had any success with a skills exchange so I'm now changing this to a paid contract. The site is a social network similar in scope to something like digg.com . At present, it has no design of any kind, it's just bare html. You'll be required to produce the front end using css. The markup can be altered as long as it stays semantic. A logo would be nice but not necessary, I'm more concerned with the site's design and usability. Budget: £1000.
